This animation I produced modeled art directed and rendered over a weekend for a pitch meeting with AIG. I was the creative Director of the Jannus Group Inc and we had only 20 minutes to brainstorm on a friday morning, in order to get a time window open on a bid for a credit card cdrom which was cutting edge way back in 2000. After the meeting everyone did their part: Creative 2 Inc- President the former Creative Director of Ogilvy provide the voice over copy for the pitch. The original concept was provided by the Jannus Group Inc's production manager, my end was to flesh it out, art direct, produce direct model, render, program the player and encode it to make the D1 graphics fit within the 50mb limit requirement and the video had scale full screen with a small footprint, anyway this is the visuals that we showed them. Jannus Group Inc won AIG as an account due to this presentation. You must remember this was before streaming video as we know it today codecs, flash mpg, mp4, quicktime, etc all required installs computers were slow and most did not have great graphic support, the AIG bid requirement was that it was of the highest quality for the high net worth individuals to whom it was created for, self contained, easy to use, and self playing.

AIG救済に関する公聴会 ティモシー・ガイトナーNY連銀総裁（英語） AIG救済に関する公聴会。当時NY連銀総裁であった彼は、彼とその他の関係者が公共の利益のために働いていると主張していますが、この救済に関わった彼以外の関係者がみんなゴールドマンサックスの出身者であり、後ろの女性も思わず笑ってしまっています。ティモシー・フランツ・ガイトナー（Timothy Franz Geithner、1961年8月18日 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の官僚、銀行家、政治家。第75代アメリカ合衆国財務長官。財務省で13年間勤務した経験を持ち、2003年から2009年までニューヨーク連邦準備銀行総裁を務めた。1985年、ガイトナーはワシントンDCのコンサルタント会社キッシンジャー・アソシエイツに就職し、およそ3年を過ごした。2001年にジョージ・W・ブッシュ政権が誕生するとガイトナーは財務省を離れ、外交問題評議会に国際経済担当の上級研究員として加わった。同年、ガイトナーは国際通貨基金へ移り、2003年まで政策企画審査局で局長を務めた。ゴールドマン・サックス（Goldman Sachs, NYSE: GS）は、アメリカの金融グループであり、世界最大級の投資銀行である。歴史は古くドイツ出身のユダヤ系のマーカス・ゴールドマンによって1869年に設立された。モルガン・スタンレーやJPモルガン等とともに、投資銀行業務の幅広い分野においてリーグテーブル上位に位置する名門投資銀行と言われている。政府高官ポストへの人材供給源という意味で、伝統的に（米国）政府との結びつきが強く、他の大手銀行以上に巨額の税金投入を迫られたAIG救済も、ゴールドマン前CEO兼会長であった当時のポールソン財務長官の意向によるところが大きかったとされる（AIGが破たんしていれば、ゴールドマンはAIGとの間で締結されていたCDS契約により1兆円を超える巨額損失を免れなかった。）。参考：ウィキペディア
