She wakes up for real and Jason is there. He tells her it's not her fault Sonny is dead. She says she should have just warned him over the phone. She never wanted him to see her sick and now he never will. Jason and Sonny look on at Brenda through the window and talk. Jason explains to Sonny that Brenda wanted to see him. Sonny and Jason agree that they will go on letting Brenda think Sonny is dead. Sonny thanks Jason for staying up with Brenda who was crying most of the night.

Jason wants to know how long she's been with Luis. She tells him that she has her mother's illness and Luis promised to keep her away from the people she loves so she couldn't hurt them. Jason wonders why she set the whole thing up. She tells him that she wanted to see Sonny and warn him. Jason tells her that Alcazar has been coming after Sonny for four months but they couldn't move against him until something happened and tonight the yacht blew up. Luis said he had something Sonny wanted more than anything in the whole world: apparently, Brenda. Brenda tells Jason he needs to protect Jax. Jason says only if Sonny tells him to. Jason says no one will find them at the safehouse and they are going to stay until they get word of Sonny. Jason gets a call. Brenda asks where they took Sonny. Jason tells her: to the morgue. She's stunned.
