Memphis Grizzlies 91 - 98 LA Clippers NBA Highlights Thursday 26 January 2012 NBA Game Recap ust 16 games into their new partnership, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul are already capable of grinding out victories for the Los Angeles Clippers on nights when nothing seems to work properly. They are both certain the Clippers will find their flow pretty soon. Griffin scored 20 points, Paul added 18 points and seven assists in his second game back from injury, and the first-place Clippers hung on in the fourth quarter for a 98-91 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night. Mo Williams scored nine of his 18 points in the fourth quarter, and Griffin added nine rebounds and eight assists as the Clippers maintained a narrow lead throughout the final period despite feeling little cohesion on either end of the court. "That's how we have to execute down the stretch," Griffin said. "It's a good win against a great team. We shouldn't be down on this win at all. They're not all going to be pretty." Caron Butler scored 17 points, and Paul also had seven rebounds while playing back-to-back games after missing the previous five with a strained left hamstring. DeAndre Jordan had nine points and nine rebounds as the Clippers bounced back from Wednesday's contentious loss to the Lakers, dropping that rivalry game after holding the lead for nearly every possession of the first 3 1/2 quarters. The Clippers' new nucleus is still learning how to ...

Memphis Grizzlies 84 - 97 Portland Trail Blazers NBA Highlights Tuesday 24 January 2012 NBA Game Recap Portland used a strong defensive effort to end its recent struggles in the second games of back-to-backs. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 23 points and Marcus Camby grabbed a season-high 22 rebounds as the Trail Blazers beat Memphis 97-84 on Tuesday night, ending the Grizzlies' seven-game winning streak. Portland limited Memphis to 38 percent shooting (34 of 90). The Blazers' defense was particularly notable during the third quarter, when the Grizzlies went more than nine minutes before getting their first field goal of the second half. Portland, coming off a win against Sacramento on Monday night, had lost four straight times in the back end of back-to-backs, but ended that trend against Memphis with a terrific defensive effort led by Camby. The 15-year veteran grabbed 12 rebounds during the first half and finished with a season-high five blocks. "Right place at the right time. I've been around for a while so I just play the angles and try to put myself in the best position to read the trajectory," Camby said. "Considering the opponent and them riding a seven-game winning streak, it was definitely a good win." Jamal Crawford scored 15 points, Wesley Matthews added 13 and Nicolas Batum and Raymond Felton had 10 each for the Trail Blazers. With Camby leading the way, Portland outrebounded Memphis 50-39. "Camby took it upon himself to make ...

Memphis Grizzlies 91 - 90 Golden State Warriors NBA Highlights Monday 23 January 2012 NBA Game Recap The Memphis Grizzlies built their longest winning streak in six seasons with a flurry of fast starts. They kept it going with one of the best finishes in franchise history. Maybe now coach Lionel Hollins' team will be taken seriously. Rudy Gay scored 23 points, three in the final 23 seconds, and the surging Grizzlies rallied from 20 points down in the second half to beat the Golden State Warriors 91-90 on Monday night. "That was a big win for us," said Gay, who added nine rebounds and four assists. "We went through a lot to get it. We showed what we're made of and we showed our toughness." Memphis (10-6) needed a 39-point fourth quarter to get it done. That was no easy task for a team that managed only 35 points in the entire first half. The Grizzlies were also playing their third game in four nights, with a visit to Portland on Tuesday next up on the schedule. Instead of collapsing after falling behind 63-43 with 3:23 left in the third quarter, Memphis rallied for what Gay agreed was the team's biggest victory of the season. The win was the Grizzlies' seventh straight, matching their longest streak since a seven-game run in March 2006. "We were dead in the water in the first half. We had no answers," Hollins said. "We don't quit, we fight. We did that and we were able to come back and get this win, which is a sweet win." Mike Conley ...

New York Knicks vs Memphis Grizzlies 12.01.2012 New York Knicks vs Memphis Grizzlies 12.01.12 www.d0wnload-blog.com www.d0wnload-blog.com www.d0wnload-blog.com www.d0wnload-blog.com THE FACTS: Coming off a 7 for 21 performance against Oklahoma City, Memphis forward Rudy Gay had the motivation of both answering critics as to when he was going to step up and lead the Grizzlies, as well as playing against his longtime buddy, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony. Gay answered both charges, scoring a season-high 26 points to lead the Grizzlies to a 94-83 win. Anthony scored 14 before leaving the game with 10:05 remaining in the third quarter when he sprained his right ankle. Anthony, who also has a wrist injury, is listed as day-to-day. QUOTABLE: "We will see tomorrow. Right now, I'm real sore. I'm more concerned with getting my ankle right. I can deal with the wrist. Hopefully, I will be alright. I can wrap the wrist and play through that. A sore ankle is a little bit more to deal with." -- New York forward Carmelo Anthony. THE STAT: It was a miserable shooting night for New York point guards. Rookie Iman Shumpert started the game making only one of his first nine shots before finishing his night missing 15 of his 20 shots as he finished with 12 points. Backup Toney Douglas didn't fare much better, shooting 3 for 13 for eight points. TURNING POINT: With New York forward Amar'e Stoudemire on the bench ...
