Released: 27th February 2012 ____________________ Hanski joins us for his second outing on InfraProgressive, hot off the heels of his last release which picked up support from the likes of Above & Beyond. Treating us to another three part EP, the uber talented producer drops some of the finest progressive beats we have heard in some time. Placebo heads the package with its distinctive bass pattern, clever percussion arrangements and big guitar lead all fusing together to great effect, while Hanski serves up something slightly different in Acapulco and The Ambush respectfully. If house style lead sounds are your thing, then Acapulco is the one for you, while The Ambush provides a perfect filler with its throbbing bassline and sweet synth line.

Never Die. PLACEBO "Soulmates" The B Sides 1996-2006 (Edited Placebo Tribute Video)
The second version of "Sleeping With Ghosts". A new heavily edited colour tribute video, for Placebo's track "Soulmates" which appears on their double disc album Placebo: B Sides 1996-2006. The song on this new tribute is direct from the album, with CD quality audio. I felt that this tribute needed a heavily strobed type feel to it. I hope this one's ok. Many thanks for stopping by and taking a look (and having a listen). Placebo Tribute Video for enjoyment purposes only. All material and additional footage belongs to its relevant owners. Please support Placebo & purchase official material. Thank you. "Soulmates" is basically a different sounding version of "Sleeping With Ghosts" with the same lyrics. Two versions of "Sleeping With Ghosts" were released. One of them was the studio album version, the other, a B-side, had radically different music and the band called it "Soulmates." The lyrics to both tracks are the same, but they belong to two songs. "The sea's evaporated, though it comes as no surprise These clouds we're seeing, they're explosions in the sky It seems it's written, but we can't read between the line Hush, it's okay, dry your eye dry your eye Soulmate dry your eye dry your eye Soulmate dry your eye, 'cause soulmates never die This one world vision turns us into compromise What good's religion when it's each other we despise? Damn the government Damn their killing, damn their lies hush, it's okay Dry your eyes Soulmate dry your eyes Dry your eyes Soulmate ...

Spoof taking the mickey out of the skeptics and skepticaemia. As soon as you give it they say it's too small. And if it is working, it ain't working at all. So if you have done this it ain't no career. They say with contempt, and a grin and a sneer. A working placebo is something to see. A working placebo is something to see. If you take placebos you cannot be free. They hold to the notion it's just sugarpills. These drunk silly buggers -- it's beer that they swill. They call themselves skeptics and sit around pubs. And imagine they are the greatest of clubs. A working placebo is something to see. A working placebo is something to see. A working placebo is something to see. If you take placebos you cannot be free. All evidence presented is simply ignored. Its shows that these fools are nothing but bored. They're changing the subject at the drop of a hat And show that they are nothing but stark raving mad. A working placebo is something to see. A working placebo is something to see. A working placebo is something to see. If you take placebos you cannot be free. Ben Goldacre thinks he is expert at all But like all the proud he is ready to fall. Bad science is what he thinks he does best, But he's just a dumb fool, like all of the rest. A working placebo is something to see. A working placebo is something to see. The haunting, sensual and slow Placebo track "I'll Be Yours" (Version 4am) written by Brian Molko, Stefan Olsdal and Steven Hewitt. This is a new Placebo Tribute Video which can be found in my black and white collection of Placebo videos. The original version can be found on Placebo's fourth studio album "Sleeping With Ghosts" released in 2003. This special version of "I'll Be Yours" can be found as a B-Side to "English Summer Rain" which was the fourth single from the album. In light of my new Placebo-themed tattoo, I decided to make a video of this song. Placebo has been my inspiration for forever now and I've been hesitant to make a cover because of how much of a perfectionist I can be. If you've never heard of Placebo, I highly suggest you look them up. Last I checked, I have 392 subscribers. That is INSANE. Thank you guys SO much. You have no idea how much I appreciate you watching my videos and commenting. I love all of you. www.thebarnkickers.com

Fascination. PLACEBO "Commercial For Levi" Album Version (Edited Placebo Tribute Video)
Brian Molko's dedication to sound technician & tour manager, Levi Tecofsky who saved Brian's life, by pulling him from the path of an oncoming car, when he was about to cross the road. With this video, I wanted to try and match the Cabaret of Desire performance of this song, with the original album version, by overlaying the album-track over the original footage, with the inclusion of some extra effects. This wasn't an easy video to put together as I tried to get the album version as close to the live footage as possible. This is one of Placebo's most interesting songs and has a real depth behind it. This song is about friendship and helping friends come back from bad moments in their lives. Levi Tecofsky is a highly accomplished and well respected member in music. His CV includes working with David Bowie, Roxy Music, Rickie Lee Jones, Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Placebo, Suede, The Breeders, Dinosaur Jnr, My Bloody Valentine, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, That Petrol Emotion and many others. To quote from a New Zealand interview with Levi... "I continued to work for Placebo for at least six years straight (Alex and I married in this period, Placebo playing an impromptu Life on Mars on the jazz band's gear at our wedding...) going from doing everything to ending up just as the sound engineer as they got bigger and we needed more hands on deck. I finally left them after doing sound for Bryan Ferry between Placebo albums and getting the call from Bryan to do sound on the ...
