WACA attended Occupy Melbourne's Occupy Friday event in the City Square where legendary hacker Jacob Applebaum spoke to Occupiers. Much to our delight, Greens Senator Scott Ludlam also attended and spoke to WACA about Wikileaks and the need for all Australians to work together to protect Julian Assange from a 'wounded superpower' WACA would like to thank Senator Ludlum for his outspoken and intelligent support of Wikileaks and of Julian Assange. WACA is calling on Australians around the world to mobilise from FEB 1-5 2012 and contact their local MP's or Australian embassy to demand Julian Assange's protection from extradition to the United States.
