Share this story with your twitter followers by clicking here! clicktotweet.com bit.ly - Click to Subscribe! Facebook.com - Become a Fan! Twitter.com - Follow Us! Well, some kickass women have started out the 2012 film year with a bang. We've been noticing a bit of a trend with this year's upcoming releases, many of which feature strong leading ladies kicking some serious butt. Gina Carano and Kate Beckinsale both starred in two of the biggest movies of last month, so we thought we'd make a list of our most anticipated kickass ladies to watch this coming year. Let's get started First up, of course, is Gina Carano. 'Haywire' was the first starring role for this former MMA beauty, and she's obviously a hit. Gina's got the 'tude, the moves, and the looks that made her a breakout badass star after only a month. She even won the first annual Chuck Norris Award as 'Best Female Action Star' of the year. Next up is Kate Beckinsale. Those 'Underworld' movies just don't get old, and I think Kate's got a lot to do with it. She's got the badass moves to take down vampires and no one has ever looked better in pleather and a trenchcoat. Next we have 'The Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence. We all saw the grit she possesses in 'Winter's Bone' and 'X-Men: First Class,' but to be chosen as the best badass in all of 'The Hunger Games' takes some serious lady-balls. Lawrence has trained and bulked up quite a bit for this role, so we have no doubt that she will be carrying the torch as the ...

"Jimmy completed the most amazing music, finished the fucking record, and he left so many amazing lyrics saying goodbye to the world." -Synyster Gates- "I grabbed my shit and just headed over to his house and that was the first day of all of us coming together and crying on each other's shoulders. For two, maybe three straight weeks, it was just very surreal. We didn't want to leave the house and we didn't want to leave each other. We were inconsoleable." -Johnny Christ- "Somebody--I don't remember who--we were sitting around a table, and somebody had the balls to tell a Jimmy story. One of the thousands upon thousands. We all kind of laughed a little bit. -Johnny Christ- "After his death, nobody told the same story twice and nobody stopped telling funny stories of this guy for days. the fucking stories just never ended. The healing process was just so expedited because everybody just fucking laughed the whole time. We would never want to ever show anybody that time, because when we were together we were just guiltily laughing the whole time, celebrating his life." -Synyster Gates- "So we go outside and it's the first blue moon we had in 10 years and it looked like an eye looking down on us and ...

Alberta has a big, bold reputation in Canada and around the world - stark mountains, brash cowboys, mouth-watering beef, wild stampede parties, dynamic history, modern cities, bustling ski towns -- they claim to have it all. But though they talk the talk, by golly don't they back it all up! The GCAT crew was there and we have to agree, Alberta is an amazing place! During our time in Alberta the locals made us honorary Calgarians with their 'white hat ceremony.' It shows just how welcoming they are. We repeated the mantra, dropped the white Stetsons on our heads and officially became honorary Calgarians. If you go to the Calgary Stampede, the biggest cowboy party on earth, you can get sworn in too. That same day we ate prairie oysters 'bull testicles' at the famous Buzzards restaurant downtown; a surprisingly delicious dish, if you can your mind past what you are actually eating. The next morning we started our day with a maple syrup and Canadian bacon doughnut at Jelly Modern Doughnut the fanciest, tastiest gourmet donut shop on the planet. We did all of that and still hadn't left Calgary! There is just not enough time to take everything the province has to offer; but it's fun trying! After Calgary the Rocky Mountains were calling to us so we headed towards their awesome spine of jagged peaks towering above the flat, stoic prairies. Before entering into the beautiful little alpine ski towns of Banff and Lake Louise we stopped to play cowboy at the world famous Rafters Six ...

Mortal Kombat is one of those series that appealed to me not only because of the many innovations and revolutions it brought to the video game genres, but also thanks to the vast variety of music it has. From Oriental-themed songs, to dark and foreboding tunes... and then, there are songs that are just OWNING with atmosphere! The Subway arena, in particular, stands out of the crowd due to sheer amounts of bass and electric guitar put into it. Just a few notes of listening and you can already tell: "Oh yeah, we're in Earthrealm, time to rock!" This entry contains four different versions of the Subway Arena theme. In order: 0:05 - the Mortal Kombat Trilogy (PS1) version - a slightly slower version of the original theme from Mortal Kombat 3. Personally, I think it sounds better, especially those metallic sounds added to the song. Welcome to the underground. 2:12 - the Mortal Kombat Armageddon version, my personal favorite. This one adds a few drops of disc scratches and more guitar awesomness to the usually heavy bass. 4:45 - the new Mortal Kombat (2011) version, almost a complete arrangement of the original. A bit more percussion and extra focus on guitar, plus a new set of melody in the later part. 6:34 - the original theme from Mortal Kombat 3, also featured in the new MK game as a "Legacy" track - fast-paced, industrial sounding... if only a little short. There is also a Game Boy version... but it sounds horrible... Gameplay videos by: Santora2007 (www.youtube.com ...
