NOTE: Video quality is a little less than average, due to the file appearing corrupt, but successfully converted to editable form. These are the Payne Service Traction Elevators, at Metro West Medical Center, Framingham, Massachusetts. At first, in-video at least, appear to be regular elevators, but are not accessible from any level, besides Ground, where the regular passenger ones are, across the hall. This is a Payne rarity, there they actually ran glass smooth, but you pay for it, with a nasty ΔS when stopping, similar to Westinghouses, but not as tough. You'll notice the 2nd lift has a motor that sounds like it's seen much better days. When boarding the 2nd one, I hid the camera, because Police were present, and we all know Photo/Videography is a crime, especially in a Liberal Nanny-State like Massachusetts. More than 50 million Americans are per-diabetic; meaning they have elevated blood pressure and blood sugar. Those higher numbers put people at risk for type two diabetes which can lead to a lifetime of expensive and time consuming medical care. Diabetes educator Cindy Mathiasen explains the importance of knowing your numbers. She also explains that seemingly small efforts in improving health can have big results when it comes to preventing diabetes and other life-threatening health conditions. These are the main Payne Traction Elevators, at Metro West Medical Center, Framingham, Massachusetts. You will notice that there's another pair of elevators here as well, but those are the Service ones (it's another video). We just ride the Passenger ones. One thing I never saw from Payne, until this, was their own "This Car Next" sign. Neat. Something old still intact. Not working, but intact. These have been modded by Payne themselves, during the Thyssen Elevator ownership in the company. These definitely feel like Paynes as well: Banjos. They're not as bad as the ones in Burbank Hospital (Fitchburg, MA), but banjos, nonetheless. These were a bit busy, but I got decent cab views and such. These probably had the FS Payne black buttons (flat with white numbers inside them, like Elevator B at Leominster Hospital), as well as the framed floor counter, again, similar to the main lifts at Burbank. Could be better, but we know they could be worse. Song Used: Airport Lounge Artist: Kevin MacLeod incompatech.com
