A strong monsoonal low which brought squally showers and near-gale force winds with locally damaging gusts to the Darwin-Daly Disctrict. Darwin NT Australia. Max. Central Pressure: 995 hPa. 227mm of rain was recorded within 24 hours at Stokes Hill Wharf. Darwin Airport registered 177.6mm. Sustained winds at Darwin Airport reached 63km/h at 9:00AM on the 25th. Gusts to 89km/h were also registered by Darwin Airport on the 24th. A wind gust to 105km/h was recorded at Nightcliff on the night of the 24th. The monsoon low only caused minor damage to the Darwin area, downing some trees and causing power disruptions. Some localized flash flooding also created road hazards on the 24th. This is me flying the FSX Expert mission, Monsoon into Singapore's Changi Airport (WSSS) runway 2C. Autopilot and autothrottles were used until the runway was in sight, then all were disabled. This is the sixth time I have completed this mission (out of eight tries). Comments will be well appreciated about how I can improve and fly like real-world pilots do. I set autobrakes on 1 because of the length of the runway. The plane kept going nose up automatically on final which is why I climbed too much as I descended. The callsign in Landmark 1123 heavy. Thanks for watching! 'After a long flight from England, you've descended towards Singapore's Changi Airport (WSSS), only to find a monsoon pounding the city. With minimal fuel and no forecasted breaks in the storm, you've got to make the approach. Your copilot will help reduce the workload. Changi is reporting a 3000-foot ceiling and 1/8-mile visibility with heavy rain and turbulence. The wind is out of the northeast at 24 knots, gusting to 32 knots. You are approximately 25 miles northwest of Changi Airport (WSSS), with the aircraft descending out of 19500 to maintain 17000 feet. Expect the ILS Runway 02C approach.'

Even More rains are hitting the Monsoonal belt where over 50mm of rainfall has been reported in the in the past 24hrs in many locations with a max of 98mm in HAT YAI in Southern Thailand. These rains have been continuous as well threatening to bring even more flooding to the region. Meanwhile a Stationary Boundary is lingering from Eastern China to the Ryuku Islands bringing cloudy skies and light drizzle today to most of the area.
