Every Geelong goal kicked against St Kilda in their Round 13 clash in 2011. The game started out in unusual fashion with Daniel Menzel and David Armitage kicking 2 goals each for their respective teams. Geelong's 6 goal 2nd quarter was devastating, turning the match around, and taking in a 23 point half time lead. Although the Saints steadied the ship back in their favour in the 3rd term, Geelong always had the answers. Daniel Menzel was a star kicking 4 goals, 3 in the first half including 1 from 60 metres out and 1 all important goal in the final quarter that basically put it out of the Saints reach. Geelong won comfortably in the end by 28 points. The Cats biggest win against the Saints since the 2008 Qualifying final clash. Geelong 15.10.100 St Kilda 11.6.72

"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." - William "Bill" Shankly, OBE LYRICS: Life It can be difficult You know that We all need someone to rely on Someone who's going to be there Someone who's going to make you feel like you belong Someone constant It's ecstasy, anguish, joy and despair Part of our history Part of our country And it will be part of our future It's theatre, art, war and love It should be predictable ... but never is It's a feeling that can't be explained but we spend our lives explaining it It's our religion We do not apologise for it We do not deny it They're our team, our family and our life. The Brunswick Street Oval is located in Fitzroy and was the home ground of the Fitzroy Football Club from 1883 (they entered the VFL in 1897) through to 1966. The ground is now called the WT Peterson Community Oval. Billy tells stories about Barry Breen's first game in 1965, an unfortunate off the field experience and the last game at the Brunswick Street Oval when Carl Ditterich raised emotions on and off the field. He also shares a classic tale about Tony Ongarello (thought to be the last player to kick a goal from a place kick in 1955). Billy closes by recognising Champion Brownlow Medalist (3) and member of the AFL Team of the Century - Fitzroy great Haydn Button. Details on the Brunswick Street Oval can be found at Wikipedia and Austadiums.

The Arden Street Oval is located in North Melbourne and was the home ground of the North Melbourne Football Club from their entry into the VFL in 1925 through to 1985. Billy kicks off the Arden Street story by apologising to Jedi for the lack of Kangaroos. He goes on to tell tales about the galloping gasometer Mick Nolan, Robbie Muir's battle with Keith Greig and the burnt down grand stand. He closes by emulating Malcolm Blight's 85 metre torpedo goal that won the game against the Blues in 1976 after the final siren. We acknowledge that this actually happened at Princess Park. Details on the Arden Street Oval can be found at Wikipedia and Austadiums.

The Juntion Oval is located in St Kilda and was the home ground of the St Kilda Football Club from their entry into the VFL in 1897 through to 1964. Billy Miller is a devoted Sainter and first went to the Junction Oval with his dad as a four year old in 1956. He recalls Footscray's Brownlow Medalist Peter Box starring on that day. He reminisces about Sainter legends Billy Stephenson, Darrel Baldock and Ian Stewart. He also talks about seeing Carl Ditterich's first game as a 17 year old. Billy loves the Junction Oval and believes it has the best surface of all 12 original VFL grounds. Details on the Junction Oval can be found at Wikipedia and Austadiums.
