JP Morgan Cazenove (NYSE:JPM) analysts lowered their earnings outlook for investment banks in 2011, 2012 and 2013, attributing the move to worsening conditions in fixed income and equities. The bank cut its earnings estimates for UBS AG (NYSE:UBS) by 4% and its 2012 estimate by 11%. In addition, JP Morgan lowered its Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) estimate for 2011 by 37% and its 2012 estimate by 19%. JP Morgan said the cuts "reflect weaker investment banking client activity and lower volumes across the board than previously anticipated."
