Actor Roseanne Barr has officially filed all the paperwork to run for the Green Party nomination for President of the United States. The network announced today that they've renewed The Secret Life of the American Teenager for a 5th season, officially making it the longest-running show in ABC Family history and giving it the chance to top that coveted 100-episode landmark. In the meantime, be on the look out for the season 4 premiere on March 26th. According to the LA Times, Roseanne Barr has officially filed all the paperwork necessary to run for the Green Party nomination for president of the United States. Hey everyone I am Diana Madison for Hollyscoop. Simon Cowell is on a firring spree has he has cut X Factor host Steve Jones and judges HYPERLINK "www.hollyscoop.com Scherzinger and HYPERLINK "www.hollyscoop.com Abdul. So all simon has now is LA Reid, aka just a couple of suits talking about which singer was or wasn't "pitchy". I liked it better with Abdul and Scherzinger because every week was a giant cry-fest and xanax party. Basically, Simon is upset that the debut of the American version of The X Factor isn't doing as well as the UK Version, not only that but it gets half the viewers of American Idol and NBC's The Voice. Nicole doesn't mind the boot since she is focusing on her singing career, as for Paula we hear she got the news of her axing from a lawyer and that Simon hasn't even had the decency to tell her himself. OUCH! Who do you think they should replace Jones, Scherzinger and Abdul with? Mariah Carey in place of Paula? Jessica Simpson for Scherzinger? Simon Cowell has gone on an X Factor firing frenzy. Steve Jones, Nicole Scherzinger, and, most shockingly, Paula Abdul have all been x-ed out of the judges lineup. Of the five original US judges, that leaves only LA Reid and of course Cowell himself. The X Factor, a global vocal talent show created by Cowell, debuted in the UK in 2004 and arrived in the US last year. The news of the pink slip bloodbath comes as something of a surprise as US ratings for the X Factor had been quite healthy at about 12.5 million viewers per episode. However Cowell had ambitiously hoped to outperform American Idol's 20 million viewers, which may have led to the judge liquidation. Rumors are already swirling about potential replacements, including Mariah Carey, whom Cowell reportedly wanted to hire originally but Carey?s pregnancy made it difficult. All of this news keeps one thing intact: Cowell?s reputation as a huge jerk.

I'm Dana Ward here in Hollywood with some info surrounding one of the much talked about 2012 Super Bowl commercials. This round, we're chatting about the Pepsi commercial. Thanks to a behind-the-scenes video, we get to see footage straight from the shoot, and not only is the focus on the winner of The X Factor, Melanie Amaro and how cool it is to be singing some RESPECT on the royal-themed set, but you'll also get to see some major star appearances in there as well. Dude, Elton John is in the ad -- in fact, it seems like he is the king of the court. He's looking absolutely regal and he speaks nothing but great things about Melanie, including that she's got a great personality that will make her an excellent live performer. You'll also see a cameo from Glee's Josh Sussman -- he's definitely a court jester singing a pretty funny and awkward rendition of Nelly's Hot in Here. This is definitely a performance commercial from Pepsi to look out for during Super Bowl 46 -- apparently, there's a surprise ending.
